Wheeling Corrugating To Implement the Verticent ERP Solution
RELEASE DATE : September 23, 2009
TAMPA, Fla. – Verticent, Inc. today announced that Wheeling Corrugating Company will implement the Verticent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution at each of its operating facilities.
Wheeling Corrugating is one of America’s leading fabricators of roll formed products for residential, agricultural, construction, highway and bridge building markets. It maintains an extensive catalog of roofing and siding products, steel deck products and products specifically to serve the highway market.
Rich Saginaw, Vice President of Strategic Planning commented “Wheeling Corrugating is excited about the opportunity to partner with Verticent in providing our company with the necessary tools to improve our business processes. The selection process for an ERP vendor is not an easy endeavor for any organization and finding the right fit is a critical element for a successful implementation. It was clear from the onset that Verticent, given its metals background and experience, would deliver the results we had envisioned for the company. We are confident that moving forward, Verticent’s ERP solution will provide us with the building blocks for strategic growth enabling us to work from a position of strength in the marketplace.”
“The steel industry is still recovering from the economic turbulence over the past year. Yet, here is a visionary company that is investing in its IT infrastructure so that, as the recovery broadens, it is well positioned to gain even more market share. This partnership with Wheeling Corrugating is very important to everyone here at Verticent” comments Scott Cranford, Vice President of Sales, (Verticent) “The partnership has blossomed in large part because of the steel industry depth that is found throughout the Verticent ERP solution. Wheeling Corrugating possesses the characteristics of both a metal fabricator and metal service center and that is ideal in terms of the fit for our solution. In general, a big theme for this partnership will be automation and integration. We will automate many manual processes, and we will integrate not only Wheeling Corrugating’s individual departments, but each of its manufacturing sites as well.”
