Overview

This intensive six day program will provide you with an overview of the integration points between the ERP Suite of applications. Installation of the Verticent applications will be addressed in detail.

Successful completion of the course will certify you as an ERP Generalist, a representative of the company or customer, with a broad knowledge of the of the Integration of the ERP Suite and the ability to transfer that knowledge into customer solutions.

Prerequisites

The full functional training should have been completed in all of the Verticent applications.

A review of the User Guides for each application and Verticent ERP Integration User Guide is essential before attending this program.

The Verticent ERP course will last six days and cover Installation, Networks, Enterprise Services and Integration points. The participants must complete Manufacturing, Distribution and Financials prior to attendance of this course.

Who should attend?

This program is designed to provide Verticent Consultants, Value Added Re-Sellers, IT staff, MIS Managers and Process Improvement Specialists with the knowledge required to install and configure the Verticent applications. It will also provide an understanding of the business flow of the applications and the interrelationships between these applications.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course you should be able to:

  • Make informed decisions concerning installation, product setup and foundation data across the entire Verticent ERP Applications Suite.
  • Explain the relationship between business activities in one part of the Verticent ERP Applications suite and the corresponding actions that are triggered in other parts of the suite.
  • Identify and describe the application integration points, the AIS mechanism, and the associated transactions.
  • Associate business principles and processes with their corresponding Verticent ERP Applications suite features and functions.

Please note that the Verticent ERP course has been reduced to 6 days. This course curricula will have to be rewritten as will the course materials. The pre-requisites for this course are that participants must attend Financials, Manufacturing and Distribution PRIOR to the ERP class. This course will now focus on Installation and Integration points ONLY.
