Overview

This course is structured to provide both instructor-led discussion and hands-on exercises, describing how to use Verticent eSeries to satisfy real world e-business requirements. The topics are presented in a sequence that parallels a typical implementation sequence for the system. System operation is discussed from a functional perspective, addressing the information needs of the various functional groups who will interact with the system. This class does not include instruction on web site design or installation of the eSeries product.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum working knowledge of orders, shipping, tax, carrier and freight, Clippership and pricing in the Distribution application.
  • Minimum working knowledge of Sales/Marketing Workbench, Lead Pass Management and Call Script and UDF management in the SFA application is required.
  • Minimum working knowledge of Problem Action, Product Registration and Case Management in the Support application is required.
  • Minimum working knowledge of Invoices in the Financials application is required.
  • Minimum working knowledge of ERP reports in the PI application is required.
  • Prior review of the eSeries User documentation is required.
