Overview

In this hands-on course, you will learn how to use PADLock to secure PowerBuilder applications. Subjects covered include PADLock administration, Verticent Common Administration Utility (PC Admin), context-sensitive PADLock, and tips and techniques. This class consists of lecture and labs and is intended to provide developers and security administrators with the knowledge needed to 'PADLock' applications.

Prerequisites

• Fast Track to PowerBuilder course completed or the equivalent
  
  Recommended
• PowerBuilder experience of at least six months
• Knowledge of Object Oriented programming concepts

Who should attend?

This course is intended for developers and Security Administrators. At least one Senior Developer or Manager from each development site should attend the class. This will provide adequate in-house expertise on the use of PADLock.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course you should be able to:

• Secure PowerBuilder applications at the object level using object context-sensitive PADLock and the Verticent common administration utility (PC Admin).
