Overview

In this hands-on course, you will learn how to make full use of the PowerTOOL object class library as well as understand its behavior as a methodology for inheritance and navigation.

Subjects covered include naming conventions, window ancestor hierarchies, and DataWindow object ancestor hierarchies.

This class consists of lecture and labs and is intended to rapidly accelerate PowerBuilder developer's productivity.

Prerequisites

  • Fast Track to PowerBuilder course completed or equivalent experience.

    Recommended
  • PowerBuilder development experience of one month or more.
  • Knowledge of some of the basic concepts of the object-oriented systems development.

 

Who should attend?

This course is intended for PowerBuilder Developers. At least one Senior Developer or Manager from each development site should attend the class. This will provide adequate in-house expertise on the use of PowerTOOL
